Creating our
democratic future

32 years after independence, post-Soviet states, including Armenia, are taking important steps towards establishing democracy. However, democracy is not only about transparent and fair elections, but also civic engagement, mature political culture, dialogue and a political party spectrum with substantive ideas. Thus, only those who understand democracy can have a say in it.

Importance
The establishment of a liberal democracy is not only important as an electoral tool, but an important factor for strong institutions, a strong rule of law and a strong welfare state.
As a consequence, it is important to create awareness for liberal democratic culture, healthy political dialogue for all layers of the civil society.
Our Objectives
We want to help Armenia's developing democracy culture to consolidate, to involve people in the strengthening of democracy. Contribute to the creation of a free society that will control the steps of the democratic progress of the state.
a) Awareness on democracy for youth;
b) Democracy studies in universities;
c) Mature debate platform on democracy;
d) Mutual experience exchange between Armenian and foreign experts.
Our Methods
The primary goal of the organization is to use different channels to a) raise awareness of the importance of democracy and b) create a better, substantive culture of debate.
